Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American television and film actress. She is most famous for playing Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Kellie Martin is most well-known for her role as the main character on the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin began her acting career at the age of was seven. The aunt of her mother, who served as the nanny of actor Michael Landon's children, was a big help in landing her one small part on the TV show Father Murphy. After she graduated from Yale University in 1982, Martin began to take her acting profession more than just a hobby. She landed significant roles in television and on the big screen. Martin, in addition to being an accomplished actor and dancer, she is also an accomplished ballet photographer. A mother of two, she is the national spokesperson for Lupus and has been frequently raising awareness about the condition following the death of her sister at the age of 19.
